This type of outdoor training is MORE than fun in the sun! It takes strength training from its roots of strongman-type push and pull, and incorporates it with postural corrective movements to reinforce and develop strength, stability, and mobility in the body. This is only part of what makes the Challenge so distinctive!
You can make your body more functional and conditioned to not only look better, but to FEEL better. This all takes place in warm, summer weather only at the best neighborhood gym in the east! The Aspire Challenge at Fuel the Gym is for ALL levels of fitness from beginners to advanced athletes. Bring a friend ... heck, bring a GROUP of friends! Come participate in a challenge that will help condition the body and promote positive movement patterns by using functional exercise movements.
Some of the unique features of the Challenge include pushing and pulling sleds up and down hills, lunging with low-loaded cambered bars, farmer's walks with hexagonal trap bars, using kettlebells, and harnessing and propelling weighted slam balls! This cool equipment can't be found at most gyms, and the majority of trainers and trainees have never even heard of it all!
This is no run of the mill, generic, lame boot camp ... no ... this is REAL, FUN, and ATHLETIC movements and training that have a purpose to give you the best and most enjoyable workout of your life!
All participants who conquer the First Level of the Aspire Challenge will receive a FREE Team Aspire T-shirt! Sign-up is at Fuel the Gym, located at 2 Cedar Street, Woburn, Massachusetts. Each class is only $15 for a full hour of the Challenge! Larger Aspire Challenge packages are also available.
The list will fill quickly, so reserve your spot now for our 1-hour long Saturday morning time slots at 10:00 am and 11:00 am (when weather permits).
Soon, Aspire will also be presenting nutrition and training seminars at 12:00 pm directly following the Aspire Challenge. The seminars will be lead by me, Scott Bottorff, B.S. in Food & Nutrition, long-time strength coach, and head trainer of Aspire Advance Training.
